Eight Problem Solvers Caucus Members Have Signed On

Since March, AHDA has met with health policy staff of House Problem Solvers Caucus members to provide background on the HEADACHE Act and build the bipartisan support the bill needs.

To date, eight members of the House Problem Solvers Caucus have signed on to the bill.

The Caucus is an evenly divided bipartisan group, which makes it a natural fit for legislation like this one. The HEADACHE Act was introduced by Rep. Lori Trahan (D-MA-3) and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-1), and has drawn support from both parties since.

Bipartisan breadth matters for a bill at this stage. Committee leadership is more likely to schedule a hearing or markup for legislation that clearly is not a one-party priority.
